The HAKKO FX-889 dual port soldering station has two independent ports, offering users two soldering stations with full power output that can be used simultaneously. The station also features up to 5 user programmable presets for each port, digital calibration, password lockout, and low temperature alarm.
Two ports offer multiple options for the user. You can use one port for a standard soldering iron () and the other port for a nitrogen compatible version of the same soldering iron (FX-8802) or a soldering gun with a manual solder feed trigger (FX-8803) which frees up one of your hands, or an SMD hot tweezers (FX-8804) for surface mount work, or for heavy duty soldering applications (FX-8805.)
